Rob Taylor
Managing Director
Rob is the managing director at Greenbuild and brings valuable expertise to the company with over 15 years of experience in servicing the fire protection industry through his family’s businesses, Complete Fire Supply and Complete Welding Services.
Rob leads Greenbuild with an infectious entrepreneurial spirit, a unique skill set, and a passion for streamlining complex supply chains. His extensive background in wholesaling to the fire protection industry perfectly aligns with our core business. Renowned for his world-class warehousing and logistics knowledge, Rob takes pride in his exceptional communication skills and strong relationships with clients.
When not immersed in running the day-to-day operations at Greenbuild, you’ll find Rob engrossed in a good book, enjoying morning walks with his wife and two children, or cheering on the Tigers at the MCG. His commitment to excellence, personable nature, and passion for our industry make him an inspiring and effective leader at Greenbuild.
Chris Merchant
Director & Co-Owner
Our director and co-founder Chris has nearly 20 years of experience in the fire protection industry under his belt, specialising in dry fire systems. Chris brings extensive knowledge, a calming influence, and valuable experience to his role. Having been with the company since the beginning, Chris plays a vital role in the customer journey for new clients, working closely with Rob on a case-by-case basis. Chris is actively involved in pursuing engineers and decision makers at the planning stage to specify our products in new projects, contributing to our growth.
When he’s not hard at work promoting our brand and products, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids. Melbourne born and bred, Chris is also an avid cricket and football fan (a self-proclaimed mad Collingwood supporter), and this passion led Chris to become the premiership captain with the South Yarra Football Club in 2019.
What excites Chris about the future of the industry is the untapped potential of our products, and he’s excited for the possibilities that lie ahead.
Julia Scholz
Sales & Marketing Manager
Julia is at the forefront of bringing the distinctive Greenbuild brand to life. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and providing crucial support to the directors at Greenbuild. With over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and office administration, Julia’s highly organised nature and meticulous attention to detail keep everything running smoothly. Julia develops and executes innovative sales and marketing strategies that not only meet but exceed revenue targets. She also has a vital role in client onboarding and handling for long-term business relationships.
Originally from Germany, Julia has called Australia home for more than 10 years and loves life here. When she’s not hard at work smoothing out obstacles, she enjoys walks with her dog, family time, farmers markets, yoga, and to spend time by the beach or in the Sunshine Coast Hinterlands.
Julia is excited about helping other businesses succeed with Greenbuild’s support, and about building a strong network within the ever-changing building industry.
Joicy George
Accountant/ Bookkeeper
Meet Joicy, our expert accountant and bookkeeper at Greenbuild! With over a decade’s worth of experience as an accounts officer in sectors such as manufacturing, transport, and retail, Joicy brings valuable expertise to their role.
Joicy has been an integral part of the Greenbuild team since September 2022, ensuring smooth financial operations. Joicy will be an important player in your client onboarding as she takes charge of checking references, setting up accounts, and ensuring timely payments. She’s eager to contribute to the financial success of Greenbuild, our clients, and the industry as a whole.
When Joicy’s not crunching numbers, she finds joy in exploring nature and fueling her sense of adventure. Originally from India, Joicy fills her free time going on exciting camping trips and discovering new hiking trails.
Shane Merchant
Delivery Specialist
Shane is responsible for the quick, friendly, and reliable delivery of products at Greenbuild. Known for his customer-service attitude and friendly nature, Shane’s personal strengths shine in their dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Shane’s been with the company for one year, contributing to the smooth delivery of products to our clients. When it comes to your customer satisfaction, Shane plays a pivotal role, ensuring that you get the right materials quickly and reliably. Order before 10 am and Shane will have your order for you that afternoon. Order anytime of the day and it’ll be delivered the next day.
In his spare time, Shane enjoys playing and watching cricket. He’s excited about being a part of the future of the industry and of Greenbuild’s growth. He enjoys working alongside new and existing customers in supporting their success and making a positive impact wherever he can.
Bron Taylor
Sales and Customer Service
Bron is likely one of the first team members you’ll chat to at Greenbuild, and she’ll set you up for project success from the very beginning. With a background in commercial rubber supply and phone sales, Bron brings expertise, a friendly nature, and a customer-centric approach to her work. Bron’s been with Greenbuild since the very beginning, managing the customer journey and day-to-day requirements for new clients.
Originally from Melbourne, Bron now resides on the Gold Coast with her family. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, a glass of wine, and spending time with family (especially on the beach in the sun). Bron’s excited about creating lasting relationships with clients in the future of the industry.
