Victoria’s Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) project is moving full steam ahead with the order of its first four tunnel boring machines (TBMs). These massive machines will excavate twin tunnels, transforming Melbourne’s transport network and creating thousands of jobs. The project emphasises sustainability with TBMs powered by renewable energy and innovative machine repurposing.
